Head of Quality Assurance

Head of Testing Department for a Leading Defense Organization.

Position Description: A leading defense organization is seeking an experienced Head of Testing Department. The role includes managing and leading professional testing teams, recruitment and professional screening, employee training and retention, leading multidisciplinary projects, and developing advanced automation infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

• Professional and managerial leadership of large testing teams (over 20 team members)
• Recruitment, professional screening, training, and employee retention
• Responsibility for the development, management, and execution of automated testing processes
• Working closely with project managers and multidisciplinary system interfaces
• Managing complex projects in the field of automated testing
• Developing automation infrastructures, managing recovery scenarios, and executing parallel testing
• Ongoing work with APIs and queue mechanisms
• Leading processes based on various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile Testing, Risk-Based Testing, Regression Testing, and more)

Requirements:

• Academic degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior testing management role
• At least 2 years of experience managing and developing automation tools, writing and executing test scripts
• Proven experience managing and motivating large teams (20+ team members)
• In-depth knowledge of various testing methodologies and quality assurance practices
• Experience in developing automation infrastructures and managing complex testing scenarios
• Experience working with APIs and queue mechanisms
