A startup company that provides AI-based storage servers capable of handling endless amounts of data, while enabling fast and efficient data retrieval. Their B2B solution is primarily used by insurance companies, banks, and other organizations that require their data to be stored physically on-premises rather than in the cloud.
The company is looking for a new team member to join the Platform Group's development team. In this role, you will be responsible for professional mentoring, overseeing the release process from Development to QA, improving and automating processes, and integrating automated tests in Python.
The work is On-Premises in a cutting-edge technological environment with Linux, Python, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Coverity, VMware, Ansible, Docker/Podman, and CMake.
The position offers a hybrid work model with two work-from-home days per week. The company’s offices are located in Herzliya.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working with production-environment.
- Extensive experience building and sustaining a fully automated CI/CD solution.
- Experience with CI systems with GitLab and Jenkins.
- High proficiency with git workflows.
- Proven experience in Linux system engineering
- Extensive experience in coding with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of system-level topics and IT infrastructure, including operating systems, storage, networking and firewalls.
- Experience with virtualization and containerized systems
- Excellent organizational, analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates high initiative and a proactive approach, with the ability to independently define and drive solutions in the DevOps field
