We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic, cool and growing Data Science Group. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, designing, developing, and maintaining predictive models and advanced machine learning algorithms. You will ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of our data infrastructure.

You have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning. Working within our unique Insurtech hub, you will provide actionable insights to drive business decisions and play a key role in the growth and expansion of the entire company. You will leverage advanced machine learning and AI processes to support data initiatives, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, data engineers, and tech leads to implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance our competitive stance.

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple data projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and perform data cleansing, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, as well as tech stakeholders, to define model scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Science roles.
• High proficiency and vast experience working with SQL, Python and statistical techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• An innovative and creative state of mind.
• Experience with Databricks – an advantage
• Experience with Gen-AI tools and technologies.
• A true passion for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• A strong interest in finance and insurance is a significant advantage.
• A master’s degree is also a great advantage.
