Financial Analyst

Adama Agan is looking for a Financial Analyst to report directly to the Plant's Chief Economist and support all team activities at the site – including financial analyses, costing, financial reporting, inventory analysis, regular reporting, and partnering in presenting information to the Operations Management team.

Temporary one-year project with a strong option for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in pricing the company's product costs.
• Review actual operational performance VS standards and budget and monitor production reporting.
• Data analysis: sales, procurement, gross margin, and more.
• Inventory control, handling problematic and slow-moving inventory, and managing inventory provisions.
• Calculate customs exemption eligibility according to international trade agreements and manage local taxes.
• Collaborate with group companies abroad on various topics: inventory management, forecast preparation, monitoring sales and procurement prices for raw materials and finished goods.
• Provide data for financial reporting, estimates, and work plans.
• Support the presentation of analyses to senior management.
• Provide financial support for company projects.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst.
• BA degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Business or Accounting.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional data collection and analysis skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel – must-have.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
