Backend Team Lead

About the Role

• Technical Leadership: Guide the team in designing, developing, and maintaining cybersecurity solutions using Golang, C#, and Python.
• Hands-On Development: Stay deeply involved in coding (around 50% of the time).
• Team Building: Hire, mentor, and develop a top-tier team of engineers.
• Code Excellence: Conduct reviews and enforce best practices to ensure high-quality, secure code.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, security researchers, and other key stakeholders.
• Strategic Impact: Contribute to architectural decisions and shape the future of the company’s technology stack.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in either Golang or C#.
• 1–2 years of team leadership or technical mentorship experience in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a fast-paced startup setting.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and basic cybersecurity principles (advantage).
• Ability to recruit, onboard, and develop engineering talent.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Networking and cybersecurity knowledge.
• DevOps and CI/CD familiarity.
