Job Title: Chief Accountant

Location: Ivory Coast (Relocation)

A global company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join its finance team in Ivory Coast.

This role involves managing the financial reporting processes and overseeing key areas such as cash flow management, IFRS compliance, budgeting, and financial control.

The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating financial statements, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Manage the consolidation of financial statements across multiple subsidiaries.
• Handle day-to-day interactions with banks and regulatory authorities.
• Lead and manage cash flow control, monitoring, and reporting on liquidity and financial performance.
• Guide and manage the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
• Supervise the financial operations of subsidiary companies.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on financial performance, key metrics, and any deviations from the budget.

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• 5 years of experience in a similar role within an organization.
• Hands-on experience in preparing quarterly and annual financial reports is mandatory.
• Experience with IFRS is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Israeli statutory and tax laws is a plus.
• Experience in revenue recognition and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and a broad understanding of financial systems.
• Fluent in English (high proficiency).
• French is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
