Strategic Procurement / Purchasing Manager - International and Water Filtration

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sourcing and procurement processes internationally for technical and engineering equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings and translate them into procurement requirements.
• Collaborate with international suppliers.
• Develop quantity estimates based on engineering requirements and project needs.
• Identify and cultivate new markets and suppliers worldwide.
• Interface across organizational boundaries for operational planning and execution of technical requirements.

Requirements:

• Education: Engineer or relevant technical field.
• Experience in technical procurement and negotiation with suppliers locally and internationally.
• Significant advantage for familiarity with infrastructure and energy sectors.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings - mandatory.
• Previous experience in sourcing management internationally.
• Prior ERP experience preferred.
• Independent work capability, eagerness to learn, strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, high service orientation, adaptability to change.
• Previous experience in a similar role in industrial/engineering projects.
• English - high level
• Knowledge of additional languages - significant advantage.
