We are looking for an experienced Database Team Leader to join our organization. This role includes managing the DBA team and overseeing all database activities across the organization, including setup, maintenance, operations, and support. The position also involves acting as a technical authority and advisor for troubleshooting and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the DBA team and manage day-to-day database operations
- Design, maintain, and support various relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Oversee and manage ELK and Kafka platforms
- Collaborate on ETL processes using tools like DataStage and Talend
- Serve as a subject matter expert for complex database issues
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Application/Infrastructure DBA working with Oracle (version 11 and up) and SQL Server
- At least 3-5 years of experience leading technological teams – mandatory
- Proven experience working with large-scale databases, including design, query writing, optimization, and troubleshooting of complex SQL queries
- Hands-on experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure – advantage
- Experience with at least one programming language – strong advantage
