DevOps Engineer (Contractor)

We’re seeking a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to own the mobile CI/CD pipelines that ships Shutterfly’s mobile apps to millions of users. You’ll write the Python code that powers our Jenkins‑based farm, crafting robust release workflows with fast feedback loops and deep hooks into native toolchains like Gradle and Xcode. You’ll partner with developers, QA, and other key stakeholders to keep every build secure, reproducible, and lightning‑fast. If optimizing CI/CD pipelines, mastering mobile build tools, and turning complex logs into clear insights sounds like your kind of challenge - come help us push mobile innovation into production every day.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience administering a central build server
• 1+ years of experience in software development
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD principles
• Hands-on experience with Git
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby, Groovy)
• Experience with GitHub
• Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools like SPLUNK or ELK
