Job Description:
We are looking for a Chargeback Analyst to join our Payments team.
In this role, you will become a domain expert within a rapidly expanding team and a fast-paced environment.
As a Chargeback Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our Payments team, responsible for investigating, analyzing, and resolving payment disputes and chargebacks.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including payment service providers, internal teams, and external partners, to mitigate fraud risk and ensure a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and investigate payment disputes across multiple payment service providers.
- Review and respond to chargeback notifications and retrieval requests in a timely manner.
- Identify root causes of chargebacks and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Fraud Prevention, Customer Support, and Finance, to develop and implement effective chargeback management strategies.
- Maintain our Dispute Data Center with accurate records and documentation related to chargeback cases and resolutions.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on chargeback data analysis and trends.
Requirements:
- Student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business / Finance / Accounting / Engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years remaining until graduation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Detail-oriented mindset coupled with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Team player with a can-do attitude, driven by self-learning and ambition.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
