Java Software Engineer

A global Fintech company developing an AI system aimed at preventing financial fraud committed by employees, in line with required regulations.

The technology analyzes the electronic communication of employees in financial institutions, flags suspicious indicators, and helps prevent offenses such as insider trading, market manipulation, and more.

Located in Ramat Gan, near a train line. The company operates in a hybrid model with two fixed work-from-home days (Monday and Wednesday). The team includes around 130 employees.

The company has large clients in the U.S. and Europe and was a profitable bootstrap company until last year. Due to growing demand, the company brought on investors and raised $32 million, with the latest round of $20 million completed in December.

Currently transitioning from a startup to an enterprise company.

The role- is part of the development team, reporting to the team lead.

Tech stack: Java, Spring, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Linux, Docker, K8s, Kafka, RabbitMQ.

Requirements:

• 6 years experience in Java programming experience – MUST!
• Proven expertise with Spring Framework - must
• Experience with Elasticsearch/MongoDB - big advantage
• Strong background in Linux OS, Shell scripts and containerized environments (Docker, K8s)
• Experience with cloud providers, cloud native systems and micro-services
• Experience with Kafka, Rabbit MQ
• Experience with RDBMS (MySQL)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• BSc in relevant field
