Kivunim – Towards Independence is a leading nonprofit working for over 21 years to empower young adults with disabilities to lead independent, meaningful lives within their communities. Based in northern Israel, we operate a variety of innovative programs across the country.

What You’ll Do:

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Resource Development Director to lead and expand our fundraising efforts in Israel and abroad. You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and executing fundraising strategies across multiple sectors: philanthropic foundations, Jewish federations, corporate partners, private donors, and government sources
• Writing compelling grant proposals and clear, detailed impact reports
• Cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with donors—organizing visits, events, and collaborations
• Coordinating fundraising efforts across the organization and collecting relevant content from various teams

Who You Are:

• You have proven experience in resource development and fundraising
• You’re a strong communicator in both Hebrew and English, written and verbal
• You’re highly organized, analytical, and comfortable using Excel to track budgets
• You bring creative thinking, independence, and motivation to the role
• You’re a people person, a team player, and detail-oriented
• You have excellent computer skills; experience with Canva, AI tools, or CRM systems is a plus
• You hold an academic degree
