Job Description

Medication dosage and wound dressing.

• Recording patients' vital signs regularly and according to guidelines.
• Obtaining nursing observations before visiting the doctor.
• Following up on the cleanliness and hygiene of patients and patients' beds inside the ward.
• Participating in breakfast visits.
• Performing medical procedures such as applying infusions to patients in need.
• Preparing inpatients for surgical operations.
• Ensuring that infection prevention standards and other necessary standards are implemented in the ward.
• Performing 24-hour duty in accordance with the duty schedule arranged by the department.
  
  

Management Duties

• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual work plans in accordance with the general plan, in order to achieve the goals set by the department.
• Providing monthly, quarterly, annual and, when necessary, reports on relevant activities and achievements, in order to inform the department leadership.
• Performing other duties assigned by competent authorities in accordance with the laws, regulations and objectives of the relevant department.
  
  

Job Requirements

This job description has been prepared in accordance with Articles 7, 8 and 34 of the Civil Service Law with the following minimum requirements and criteria:

Educational background: Possession of at least a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a national or international institution from within or outside the country, and a higher degree in the aforementioned field is preferred.

Work experience: Not required

Required Skills

• Proficiency in one of the official languages (Pashto or Dari) and familiarity (writing and speaking) with English.
• Computer skills in job-related applications.
