Quality Assurance Manager

One of our clients, a leading financial technology company, is looking to hire a QA Lead to spearhead quality initiatives across their organization and ensure the robustness of their product releases. The company specializes in providing cloud-native, AI-powered operating systems for asset managers and service providers, driving innovation in investment operations.

The company has recently completed a major funding round, raising $100 million, and was recognized among the "Most Promising Israeli Startups". You will work at a prime location in a newly renovated office with a vibrant and dynamic team culture.

In this senior, strategic role, the QA Lead will oversee quality methodologies across both web applications and back-end data functionalities, without direct reports. You will be responsible for defect lifecycle ownership, automation and API coverage management, and the development and enforcement of test strategies. This role involves close collaboration with development teams, product management, and customer success units to cultivate a shared quality culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee both the web app functionality and the BE data functionality
• Ownership of the escaped defects lifecycle (Ensuring timely fixes and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences)
• Manage the web app's visual tests coverage
• Oversee the automation coverage and API coverage
• Define and review test strategy and feature test plans
• Matrix management to create and enforce unified quality methodologies and processes across the company to achieve maximum. test coverage
• Work closely with Dev squad managers, product management, and customers' success to achieve a mutual quality culture and quality product development
• Lead and own the quality agenda of our client

Requirements:

• Proven experience with capital market financial instruments, either from user experience or Customer Success/Professional Services.
• Background in manual and automation testing within technical software environments.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools, cloud platforms, SaaS products, and database technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
