Vice President Finance

Viola Credit - VP Finance Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced VP Finance to join our dynamic team at Viola Credit, a fast growing, leading private debt fund. This role will involve overseeing our financial operations, reporting and modeling of financial aspects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving efficiency in our financial processes. The VP Finance will be reporting directly to the CFO.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics / Accounting (required).
• CPA (required).
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance (advantage).

Experience

• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in private debt, private equity, or investment funds.
• Expertise in Financial Reporting - Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and relevant financial regulations and tax regulations applicable to investment funds (advantage).
• Proficiency in Excel and tech oriented.
• Experience in a managerial or leadership role, Strong leadership skills to motivate, monitor, and develop finance team members.
• Understanding of Debt Instruments - Knowledge of various types of debt instruments and their operational and accounting implications (advantage).
• Positive, highly driven, and strategic thinker with a proactive approach to efficiency and problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial information clearly to stakeholders, including the CFO and partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
