Application Specialist

Alpha Omega is a global Leader in the electrophysiology-based navigation solutions for advanced neurosurgical procedures like Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) to treat variety of movement disorders.

Our product lines include several FDA, CE and NMPA approved medical devices for use in functional neurosurgery as well as a complete line of research equipment for neuroscience labs.

We serve our international markets from our offices in Heidelberg (Germany), Atlanta (USA), Israel and Guangzhou (China).

We are seeking to hire an “Application Specialist” to join our Asia Team, at Alpha Omega headquarters in Tziporit.

Its primary responsibility is maintaining customer and distributer satisfaction and to assist in implementing Alpha Omega Technology into their practice.

By providing clinical surgery support, neuroscience support, performing routine inspections on Alpha Omega equipment, and proactively addressing any customer needs. Success in this role is driven by the employee’s ability to handle clinical case support, solve technical issues, and keep accurate records independently without constant supervision.

This role reports to the Lead Product Specialist and may be asked to perform other tasks to reach revenue quotes or maintain customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Execute clinical case support (surgeries)

• Responsible for installations and trainings at customer’s site (Clinical and research)

• Accountable for demonstrations of existing & new products including performing demonstrations for Neurosurgeons & Neurologists

• Perform equipment preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasks

• Assist in achieving regional revenue targets

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a medical device company - must

• Bachelor or higher degree in Neuroscience, Biomedical engineering or life sciences.

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to 50+ lbs. and stand for long hours in the operating room

• Ability to travel 50% of position scope

• High level of English is a must.
