Since 2006, the French Medical Institute for Mothers and Children (FMIC) in Kabul, Afghanistan, has served patients from all 34 provinces. It has recorded over 2.3 million patient visits and consultations, conducted 6.8 million laboratory tests, and performed 59,000 surgeries, including more than 5,700 paediatric and adult cardiac procedures. Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Typing radiology reports and getting them signed by the concerned radiologists.
• Sort out reports according to the source of origin.
• Prepare X-Ray envelopes & file reports in them.
• Responsible for providing daily unreported exams list to file clerk.
• Provide technical support to filing staff as needed for all related work.
• Ensure proper function of equipment in the transcription area
• Maintained transcription supplies in the section
• Any other task as assigned by the manager
  
  

Job Requirements

• 12th Diploma
• Medical terminology
• Anatomy and Physiology
• English grammar and punctuation
• Legal and ethical issues in healthcare
• Transcription software training and high-speed typing
• Demonstrate a caring and helpful attitude at all times while dealing with patients/families and co-workers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with team members.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Dari, or Pashtu and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
