Data Scientist

A startup company specializing in the development of a software platform for managing and optimizing vehicle fleets and travel routes.

The platform leverages AI technologies and advanced algorithms to plan and monitor vehicle movement in real time, with the goal of increasing revenue, reducing operational costs, and enhancing customer service.

The company was recently acquired by a major global automotive group and works with a variety of international clients alongside innovative projects within the group.

The company’s offices are located in the Bar-Lev Industrial Park, near the Ahihud train station (Misgav area).

Responsibilities-

● Process and analyze large-scale datasets to generate high-quality predictions.

● Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models, optimizing feature engineering and inference performance.

● Enhance real-time data pipelines to improve model accuracy and efficiency.

● Integrate ML models into scalable, high-performance backend systems in collaboration with engineers.

● Work with event-driven architectures to process and react to real-time data streams.

● Ensure models are explainable, scalable, and optimized for deployment in cloud environments.

● Create reports and dashboards to provide insights on system performance and other KPIs.

Requirements-

● 4 years of experience in data science or machine learning in mobility related applications: GIS/telematics data, car sensors, traffic/road analysis, etc.

● Proficiency in Python or C++, with expertise in ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

● Strong foundation in probabilistic modeling, optimization, and statistical analysis.

● Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

● Hands-on experience in building, training, and deploying ML models in production.
