About the Role

As Team Lead, you’ll lead a talented full-stack team and take ownership of key platform areas. You’ll be responsible for growing the technical depth of the team, fostering strong engineering practices, and ensuring scalable, high-quality delivery. You’ll manage a group of engineers, including one QA engineer (manual and automation), and work closely with CS, Product, and peer engineers—buffering noise, unblocking delivery, and occasionally joining customer calls. You’ll play a central role in building a healthy, effective, and psychologically safe team that delivers real impact.

You’ll lead a full-stack team that owns core platform areas, including:

• Full-stack feature development across our platform—including our live analytics dashboards.
• External APIs serving customers and partners and their infra across the platform—design, scalability, and quality are critical.
• Data pipelines from MongoDB, and Postgres into BigQuery via Kafka.
• Looker dashboards and queries.
• A RabbitMQ-based legacy data pipeline.

Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a Full Stack Team Lead, ideally across multiple teams.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with strong backend and frontend expertise.
• Experience with Kafka and building scalable data pipelines.
• Experience deploying and maintaining SaaS products on Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Strong Node.js and TypeScript skills.
• 2+ years of experience in React.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and owning production systems.
• Experience managing people with diverse work styles and strengths.
• Mentorship mindset—supporting junior engineers and encouraging growth.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience from an IDF technological unit.

Bonus Points

• Experience with data engineering or database internals (e.g., indexing, query optimization, partitioning).
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, BigQuery, or Looker.
• Hands-on experience with customer-facing product work or external API design.
• Building developer infrastructure or platform tooling.
