IT Cloud and System Virtualization Engineer

MedOne is seeking a System Cloud and Virtualization Engineer to join our Professional Services Team.

Responsibilities:

·      Design, implement, and maintain complex VMware Cloud infrastructure environments.

·      Manage large VMware virtual environments.

·      Work with servers and operating systems (Windows & Linux).

·      Develop new Cloud services and ensure proper documentation.

Requirements:

·      3+ years of experience in IT and system engineering, especially in multi-server and cloud environments.

·      Proficiency with Windows Server OS.

·      Experience with both private and public cloud ecosystems.

·      Strong knowledge & experience in VMware environments.

·      Experience with vSphere ESXi (6.7/7.0 and newer).

·      Experience managing, installing, and upgrading large VMware environments.

·      Hands-on experience with enterprise storage solutions (e.g., Infinidat, NetApp, Cisco SAN, Brocade SAN).

Advantages:

·      Experience with VMware NSX, VCloud Director.

·      Knowledge of Hyper Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).

·      Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environment.

·      Kubernetes and VMware Tanzu experience.

·      Knowledge of Linux Servers.

·      Familiarity with monitoring systems and backup systems.
