Blockchain Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Blockchain Engineer to join our growing team. This position will play a key role in supporting core blockchain developers by providing advanced testing, monitoring, and API development. As a Blockchain Engineer, you will help ensure the stability, scalability, and quality of our blockchain ecosystem through hands-on coding, testing, and monitoring efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Core Blockchain Development: Work closely with the core blockchain team to assist in testing, troubleshooting, and debugging new features and functionalities.
• Advanced QA and Testing: Recreate client scenarios and perform rigorous testing (unit, integration, and system tests) to identify bugs and ensure software quality. Participate in identifying, replicating, and resolving issues within the system.
• Monitoring and Scripting: Collaborate with the DevOps team to monitor and analyze the blockchain ecosystem. Develop scripts for real-time monitoring, data extraction, and automation tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of all components.
• API and Frontend Development: Create and maintain APIs to retrieve and present data generated by the core blockchain team. Work on frontend development (e.g., using React, Next) to display blockchain data in user-friendly ways.
• Internal Issue Management: Take ownership of internal system issues, identify their root causes, and work toward solutions. Provide timely resolutions to problems affecting the blockchain infrastructure.
• Collaborative Development: Participate in regular code reviews, team discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (core blockchain developers, DevOps, etc.) to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Security & Penetration Testing: (Preferred) Conduct security assessments and penetration testing on blockchain components to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the security of the ecosystem.

Required Skills:

• Blockchain Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain principles, decentralized technologies, and how blockchain networks function.
• Full Stack Development: Proficiency in both frontend development (e.g., React, Next) and backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python). Ability to build and integrate user-facing applications with backend services and APIs.
• Advanced QA Skills: Expertise in quality assurance processes, including manual and automated testing. Ability to recreate user scenarios, run regression tests, and identify and fix defects.
• Scripting & Automation: Experience in writing automation scripts for system monitoring, data collection, and troubleshooting.
• DevOps Understanding: Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure management.
• Go: (Preferred) Familiarity with Go programming language, especially related to blockchain development. Not mandatory but will be a plus.
• Security Knowledge: (Preferred) Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and experience with penetration testing. Familiarity with blockchain-specific security issues and securing APIs is a strong advantage.
• English Proficiency: Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for effective communication within the team and with external partners.
• Development Experience: At least 7 years of experience in software development, demonstrating a strong ability to design, develop, and maintain complex systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Blockchain Protocols: Hands-on experience with public and private blockchain protocols, including Ethereum, Cosmos, etc.

• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to quickly identify problems, analyze their causes, and come up with effective solutions.
