Real Estate Financial Modeller, FP&A 

We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Financial Modeller to join our growing investment team. Your job will be to build models to evaluate new projects with direct engagement with the CEO. 

Acting as a part of a lean, highly capable team and exposed to a large deal flow in the field of acquisition and asset management you will receive day-one responsibility and autonomy within your framework. You will be working with an adaptable, quick reacting, acquisition-focused team, to close real estate investment deals in Germany. You will work closely with all real estate functions and teams within the company to ensure the best deals come to fruition

The Group is an entrepreneurial real estate investment firm located in Berlin, HK and Tel Aviv, employing over 40 professionals. German real estate investment volume completed to date is over 500 Million Euros across different asset classes. Founded in 2008, the firm has an A to Z approach and holds, in-house, all real estate capabilities and functions pertaining to the life cycle of our assets. 

Job description



Research

• Maintain an excellent knowledge of market conditions, investment conditions, and real estate transactions or regulations which may impact the sector.

Financial modelling

• Produce and manage complex financial analyses to provide detailed cash flow modelling for the launch of new projects/transactions
• Collate and report on actual spend against approved budgets
• Maintain models for performance and forecast reporting
• Establish inflows and outflows in portfolios to manage liquidity
• Produce financial analyses on investor returns
• Monitor projects and carry out scenario analysis to support decision-making processes

Underwriting

• Underwriting potential transactions and due diligence of specific investment opportunities from different asset classes 

Presentations and Investment documents

• Coordinate with performance and marketing teams in the production of materials for client presentations and investor relations
• Create pitches, proposals, and marketing materials
• Produce presentations, case studies and, marketing materials that support ongoing asset management responsibilities
• Write investment summaries and property reports

Reporting

• Prepare regular reports, presentations, and asset reviews. Provide CEO and investors with timely and relevant analysis of asset performance
• Analyze the viability of asset and development management initiatives and monitor the ongoing performance of investments
• Prepare reports for banks and investors

Acquisition support

• Assist with deal execution including working with brokers, legal, technical, tax, and financial advisors
• Assist with the sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and structuring of potential deals

You, you are, you have, you

• A Hebrew speaker 
• Good arithmetic skills and the ability to build a cash flow from scratch which incorporates equity and debt
• High standards with and attention to detail
• Positive attitude
• Good organisational skills and ability to run a variety of tasks at once
• Real Estate experience 
• IT literate
• Ability to conduct due-diligence asset analysis and determination as well as commitment to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Modelling experience, numeracy, accuracy, and spreadsheet 
• Enjoy challenges
• Strong business ethics and principles
