DevOps Engineer

Startup-style product company operating as the technological arm of a well-known and financially backed organization in the Agri-Tech domain. The company developed a SaaS B2B solution designed to improve crop quality and yield through advanced field trial tools addressing the global food supply challenge driven by population growth. Their technology has a meaningful environmental and humanitarian impact, helping reduce global hunger by preventing future crop shortages.

Founded in 2020, the company has around 75 employees, including a growing R&D team of 32. Most clients are based in the U.S., with some in Israel, including major food companies that employ agronomists — the product’s main users. Their customer base includes global food corporations, fertilizer producers, seed companies, crop protection firms, and leading agricultural research institutes worldwide.

Located in Ramat Gan , next to a train line, and operate on a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week.

The role involves joining the DevOps team, reporting to the Team Lead. You'll work in an AWS environment using CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Groovy, as well as container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.

Responsibilities-

● Design and develop tools for managing and applying DevOps principles, such as CI/CD automation and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) on our AWS Cloud-based systems.

● Platform Engineering - Introduce new tools and frameworks to boost the team's productivity and developer experience.

● Work with the dev teams to enhance stability, availability, and reliability, and implement best practices.

● Apply cyber security best practices.

● Design and manage different monitoring and observability tools for troubleshooting, resolving production issues and take preemptive actions.

About You-

● 3 year experience in a DevOps Engineer role.

● Developing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and groovy (or equivalent - GitHub actions, gitlab-ci)

● Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation and Serverless framework

● Experience with cloud native tools - Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Docker

● Experience with AWS - VPC, Route53, IAM, S3, EC2.

● Experience with dev tools

● Experience with reliability engineering - monitoring, logging and alerting with tools such as Prometheus / Grafana / Datadog / cloudwatch or equivalent.

● Experience with Linux system administration and scripting (bash and groovy).
