Procurement Buyer

Key Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate terms with domestic agents and overseas vendors in coordination with the Purchasing Manager
• Evaluate and approve suppliers of plastics, aluminum, paper, and glass - maintain quality certificates, food‑grade approvals, migration documentation, keep records in the document system
• Process purchase requests: solicit quotes, issue POs, manage contracts, and track shipments both locally and abroad
• Analyze alternative materials and lead cost‑reduction initiatives
• Monitor inventory levels with the production‑planning team,  generate tracking reports
• Coordinate pre‑press orders for packaging materials, including graphic approvals for new products and launches (Collaborate with the design studio and suppliers)
• Resolve packaging‑material quality issues in collaboration with the Quality department and external vendors
• Collaborate daily with Production, Planning, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Import, and Finance teams

Requirements

• Proven experience with SAP
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Background in packaging procurement - Ideally within the food industry
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to perform under pressure
