Internal Auditor

A large and well-established financial institution is seeking a skilled and analytical Internal Auditor to join its Finance and International Audit Division. In this key role, you will be responsible for conducting audits across a wide range of financial, operational, and international domains.

The division plays a central role in overseeing internal audits of the organization’s core financial areas—including capital markets, risk management, accounting, finance, and human resources—as well as its international subsidiaries and global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct risk-based audits across complex financial and operational processes within the organization’s headquarters and global units.

Assess exposure points and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.

Prepare clear, detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.

Lead audit projects independently while engaging with senior stakeholders and audited units.

Stay current with professional standards, industry trends, and local/international financial regulations.

Utilize data analysis to assess risk areas and identify control gaps.

Recommend practical, impactful solutions to improve governance and mitigate financial risks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics.

CPA certification – a significant advantage.

Master’s degree – an advantage.

Proven experience in internal auditing, preferably in financial institutions.

Strong knowledge of financial risk management, capital markets, and audit methodologies.

Familiarity with local and international financial regulations.

Sharp analytical mindset and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Team player with the ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.
