Back End Developer

Location: Modiin-Maccabim-Reut (Hybrid, 4 days on-site)

We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our core backend team and help build the engine behind Wiv’s FinOps automation platform. This role is hands-on, cloud-native, and perfect for someone who loves building scalable backend systems that make a real impact.

Wiv is a fast-growing no-code/low-code platform reshaping how companies automate their FinOps tasks in the cloud. Our product enables organizations to streamline cost optimization and financial operations through powerful workflow automation—without writing a single line of code.

• Develop and maintain core backend services for the Wiv platform
• Build cloud-native workflows using AWS Step Functions, Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of existing infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with product and front-end teams to deliver seamless features
• Work with real-world FinOps data and automation scenarios to power smarter decisions

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development
• Strong understanding of OOP and software architecture principles
• Proven experience with AWS serverless stack: Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3
• Experience building distributed systems and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with front-end concepts and cross-functional teamwork
• Bonus: Experience in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or workflow automation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
