Software Architect

As we continue to grow through strategic acquisitions, we seek highly experienced and strategic Software Architect for our Ecosystem domain to participate in technology due diligence processes for potential acquisitions and integrations and help shape a new Ecosystem. This critical role will ensure that all technological evaluations are thorough, efficient, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals, playing a pivotal role in shaping acquisition decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Technology Due Diligence:

• Conduct in-depth evaluations of the technological capabilities, infrastructure, scalability, and risks of target companies or technologies.
• Assess compatibility with the organization’s current technology stack, architecture, and ecosystem APIs.

Define and Execute Methodology:

• Design robust open APIs that facilitate seamless integration with acquired technologies and partner systems and oversee their implementation.
• Develop and implement standards and methodologies for architecture reviews and technical due diligence.
• Participate in defining the Post Merger Integration (PMI) plan and support its execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Identify internal stakeholders and functions that need to be involved in the due diligence process based on evaluation results.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, legal, and business teams to ensure comprehensive analysis and integration planning.

Provide Strategic Recommendations:

• Deliver a detailed assessment of the technical feasibility, risks, and opportunities of acquisitions.
• Offer clear, well-supported recommendations to executive leadership, including actionable insights for post-acquisition integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably with a background in architecture, engineering, or systems design.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth industries (e.g., SaaS, technology, or enterprise platforms).
• Proven experience with large-scale technology assessments, ideally within M&A contexts.
• Deep understanding of modern technology stacks, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and software development lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience conducting technical due diligence for acquisitions, including assessing risks and integration strategies.
• Ability to synthesize complex technical findings into clear, concise recommendations for executive decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the fintech industry is a significant advantage.
• Prior experience in post-acquisition integration from a technical standpoint.
• Experience in defining and building open APIs.
