In this position you will…

lead the development and optimization of our innovative insurance SaaS platform. In this role, you will be at the forefront of building and refining a marketplace of commercial line insurance carriers, enhancing our insurance quoting application, and optimizing the entire insurance journey with a focus on data-driven insights and success metrics. You will lead a team of 3+ product managers, guiding them to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experience.

As a collaborative leader, you will work closely with key business stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations, to align product strategies with organizational objectives and ensure seamless execution of product roadmaps.

You will be responsible for…

• Integrating insurance carrier APIs into the bolt platform using best practice process and tooling (inc. AI and automation)
• Mapping, analyzing, and enhancing the user journeys, ensuring consistent and effortless transitions between touchpoints.
• Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for our commercial line’s insurance marketplace, ensuring a seamless integration of insurance carriers and the best possible quoting experience for customers.
• Drive the continuous optimization of the insurance quoting application, balancing customer needs, usability, and technical feasibility while maximizing revenue opportunities for the business.
• Oversee the analytics of the insurance journey, identifying key touchpoints, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. Develop strategies to drive conversion, reduce friction, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Define success metrics and KPIs for product performance, driving accountability and ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Manage and mentor a team of 3+ product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations, to align on business priorities and product roadmaps.
• Build strong relationships with insurance carriers and other external partners to enhance product offerings, negotiate integrations, and refine the insurance marketplace experience.
• Partner with data analytics and customer success teams to ensure continuous feedback loops and improvement based on user insights and behavior.
• Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality product releases.
• Maintain a detailed product roadmap, aligning it with business priorities, market trends, and customer needs.
• Utilize an agile framework to ensure product development is efficient, iterative, and transparent.
• Use data and analytics to drive decisions and recommendations for product iterations and improvements.
• Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously evolve and innovate the product offering.

You will require the following qualifications and skills:

• 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2+ years in leadership.
• p role in a SaaS environment.
• Proven experience in building and scaling complex digital products, ideally with a focus on insurance or marketplaces.
• Strong experience in leading and managing a team of product managers, with a focus on people development and fostering high-performance teams.
• Deep understanding of the insurance industry, including quoting systems, carrier integrations, and marketplace dynamics.

Expertise in using analytics to drive decision-making, improve user journeys, and measure product success (experience with tools like Google Analytics or similar).
