We are a leading defense company located in the north, seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the Karmiel area. This full-time position (with additional hours as necessary) offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects both locally and globally. 🇮🇱✈️

🔌 Key Responsibilities:

- Design and create wiring diagrams (WIRING DIAGRAM, WD, BLO, BUNDLE LAYOUT).

- Prepare supporting documents such as ELA, change instructions, and final test reports.

- Participate in design reviews and installation support both domestically and internationally.

- Design harnesses, cables, and end accessories per client specifications and stringent standards.

- Utilize ZWCAD + WCS for design work.

- Have a deep familiarity with relevant military and civilian standards, including:

 - AS50881 – Aerospace Wiring

 - MIL-STD-464 – E3 Systems

 - MIL-STD-704 – Aircraft Electric Power

 - MIL-E-7016 – Electric Load Analysis

 - IPC/WHMA-A-620

- Select electro-mechanical components (relays, switches, circuit breakers, etc.).

- Collaborate closely with development, engineering, and integration teams.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering – mandatory

- At least 5 years of experience in aviation electrical design – mandatory

- Full proficiency in BLO drawings and aviation wiring design

- Familiarity with power systems in aircraft and EWIS – mandatory

- Practical experience with installations both locally and abroad – a significant advantage

- Expertise in military and civilian standards – mandatory

- High proficiency in technical English
