SOC Monitor (SOC Analyst) - Leading Company in the Central Region
We are seeking a SOC Monitor to join a leading company in the central region. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring security events for a variety of companies and organizations, identifying incidents, taking preventative actions, detecting attacks, conducting risk assessments, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security incidents for multiple companies and organizations.
- Detect and identify security events and take appropriate preventive actions.
- Investigate attacks and perform risk assessments.
- Ensure optimal functionality of security systems.
Requirements:
- Approximately 6 months of experience as a SOC Analyst.
- Familiarity with communication protocols and common ports.
- Proficiency in cyberattacks and malware types: Phishing, Ransomware.
- Knowledge of security and communication products: FW, NAC, AV, Switches, SSLVPN, EDR, AV, Anti-Phishing.
- Experience with SIEM systems, at least one of the following: QRadar.
- Familiarity with common ports and protocols:
- SMB 445
- HTTP 80
- HTTPS 443
- Telnet 23
- DNS 53
- FTP 21
- SSH 22
