Process Engineer

About the Role

Process Engineer at the Rotem Power Plant.

Job Purpose: Full responsibility for leading processes and managing the areas of water quality, steam, oils, and fuels at the power plant, including managing the chemical laboratory and executing processes for efficiency and innovation. The role includes promoting operational excellence and providing professional training to teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage water/steam/oil/diesel quality and ensure compliance with process parameters.
• Responsible for toxins and compliance with toxic substance permits.
• Manage the chemical laboratory and produce chemical reports.
• Promote LEAN processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Mentoring and training operational teams at the plant.
• Prepare work plans and budgets, and track implementation.
• Conduct regulatory tests and update procedures.
• Collaborate externally with consultants, suppliers, and contractors.

Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.

At least 3 years of experience as a process engineer in an industrial manufacturing plant.
