Network Security Specialist

We are seeking an Information Security Specialist with 2 to 5 years of experience in the field of information security. The role involves implementing and managing information security solutions, managing projects, supporting advanced security systems, and managing risks. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve complex technical problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including UTM features and VPN tunnels.

• Manage and support Juniper SRX firewalls and switches, including zones, NAT, and routing protocols.

• Maintain secure site-to-site and remote VPNs (IPsec, SSL).

• Implement and manage VLANs, DMZ zones, access control, and network segmentation.

• Monitor and analyze network traffic and logs using tools like FortiAnalyzer and Wireshark.

• Participate in incident response related to network-based threats and policy violations.

• Document network topology, configuration changes, and firewall policies.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet (CLI and GUI) and Juniper JunOS environments.

• Experience configuring ACLs, routing, NAT policies, and VPNs.

• Familiarity with security protocols: SSL/TLS, SSH, SNMPv3.

Certifications (Required):

• Valid certifications such as:

• CCNA or CCNP (Routing & Switching or Enterprise)

• Juniper JNCIA or higher

• Fortinet NSE4 or higher

• CompTIA Security+ or similar is a plus, but not required.

Additional Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using tools like Wireshark, FortiAnalyzer, or equivalent network analysis solutions.

• Good documentation skills and experience with change control processes.

• Team player with strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
