Buyer for a Hi-Tech Company – Rosh Haayin

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Buyer to join our dynamic team in a leading hi-tech company. This role is key to managing strategic procurement operations and building strong supplier relationships in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships
• Lead supplier negotiations and identify new sourcing opportunities
• Drive cost reduction initiatives
• Oversee global import processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, Planning, Production, and Chemistry
• Monitor open orders, resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams
• Analyze market trends to support informed purchasing decisions
• Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECO) in logistics and commercial operations
• Track and evaluate supplier performance (materials, shortages, production planning)
• Conduct COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) analysis

Requirements:

• BA degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Economics – Must
• At least 7 years of purchasing experience – Must
• Proven experience in global procurement and import processes – Must
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written – Must
• Strong negotiation skills – Must
• Experience in subcontracting management – Preferred
