Our Database Engineering team drives Verint’s modernization efforts, playing a pivotal role in the AML (AWS Modernization Labs) project to transform our database infrastructure. This team is re-architecting systems for PostgreSQL, enabling faster innovation and scalability for our global CX automation platform.

We are looking for a PostgreSQL DBA to join our team and contribute to a key database modernization project. You’ll help enhance a customer experience platform used by thousands of organizations worldwide, working with a dynamic group of experts in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You’ll convert SQL Server stored procedures to PostgreSQL, optimize database performance, and support a smooth migration process. Responsibilities include redesigning schemas, ensuring data integrity, and troubleshooting to integrate applications with PostgreSQL, driving impactful technical advancements.

The position is temporary - a replacement for a maternity leave.

Let’s Talk about who we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in PostgreSQL database administration, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including stored procedure development, with hands-on experience converting SQL Server logic to PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in SQL, database design, and query optimization across both SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.
• Experience with data migration, maintaining data integrity, and troubleshooting complex database issues.
