Backend Team Lead

Software Development Team Lead – Full Stack | AdTech

We’re looking for a hands-on Software Development Team Leader to take ownership of our full stack development team within the dynamic world of AdTech. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with a passion for building scalable, high-performance systems and mentoring engineering talent.

• Lead a backend development team through all stages of the development lifecycle
• Architect scalable solutions for high-traffic applications in a data-intensive environment
• Drive key technical decisions and enforce engineering best practices
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs
• Coach and mentor engineers, and continuously improve team processes and delivery

• Strong hands-on experience building and scaling Node.js applications in production
• Familiarity with Scala, or willingness and ability to learn it quickly
• Solid experience working with AWS and cloud-based architectures
• Deep understanding of frontend performance, complex state management, and client-side optimization
• Proficient in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud CI/CD pipelines
• Skilled in optimizing high-volume databases and backend systems

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making ability

We work in a high-scale AdTech environment, building reliable systems that process and respond to large volumes of traffic and data. Our core stack includes Node.js, Scala, and Angular, all running on modern cloud infrastructure.
