Software Team Lead - multidisciplinary software projects

We seek a hands-on Team Leader to lead multidisciplinary software projects involving embedded systems, desktop applications, and system-level integration. This role is ideal for a technical leader who enjoys staying close to the code while mentoring a team and driving project execution from design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software developers across multiple disciplines (Embedded, C++, C#, Python)
• Take an active, hands-on role in design, development, and code reviews
• Define architecture and development strategy for complex systems
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, QA, and product managers to deliver robust solutions
• Mentor team members and support their technical and professional growth
• Drive Agile development processes and ensure high code quality and documentation standards
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders on progress, risks, and technical decisions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Proven experience leading software teams or technical projects
• Proficiency in at least two of the following:
• C# (WPF, .NET Core, or similar)
• C++ (Modern C++ standards, multi-threading, performance-critical apps)
• Python (for scripting, data handling, or backend logic)
• Embedded C/C++ (bare-metal or RTOS-based development)
• Experience with multidisciplinary environments that combine software, hardware, and real-time systems
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
