Financial Analyst (Student Position)

About The Position

This is a hands-on, execution-focused research position. You will work directly with our CEO and Head of Trading to collect, organize, and structure professional knowledge related to FX risk, exposures, financial behavior, and client types. Your main tools will be AI (ChatGPT), your analytical brain, and your ability to turn scattered information into clear, useful knowledge.

You're not here to invent strategy or write code. You're here to help us transform decades of financial expertise into structured, documented, and usable logic that will be used by our product and data teams.

What You'll Actually Be Doing:

Below are real examples of the kind of tasks you will work on:

• Map Types of Currency Exposures by Client Profile
• Use ChatGPT and internal materials to build a table showing exposure types for various business models (e.g., exporters, importers, SaaS companies).
• Organize Professional Knowledge into a Usable Database
• Sort and classify existing professional documents into categories like: cash flow risk, economic exposure, natural hedging, FX policy.
• Simplify and Translate Complex Concepts for Product Use
• Take BIS or IMF-level FX risk principles and explain them in simple terms, so product managers can implement them as logic or triggers.
• Support Logic Design for Risk Models
• Research concepts like "materiality thresholds for exposure" and summarize 3-5 industry approaches. Draft a table comparing them.
• Analyze Real Customer Data
• Use ChatGPT to extract insights from sample customer activity files and suggest which patterns may indicate FX exposure or inefficiency.
  
  

• Someone who is analytical, structured, curious, and hard-working.
• A student (2nd year or above) in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or a similar field.
• Someone who loves organizing knowledge and can work for hours on a research task.
• Someone who knows how to use ChatGPT deeply, not just for chatting – but to think, extract, summarize, and build.
  
  

• Strong analytical skills – especially in breaking down abstract concepts into components.
• Excellent written English.
• Experience using ChatGPT or other AI tools to do research, summarization, and data extraction.
• Self-managed, highly reliable, deadline-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and information quality.
• Passion for learning about FX, finance, and economic logic.
