Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rehovot, Israel.

The Senior Biology Researcher will lead R&D activities related to molecular farming, including:

🔬 Genetic engineering of plants

🧫 Lab-scale protein expression and analysis

🧬 Development and execution of experimental protocols

📈 Cross-functional collaboration with downstream and computational teams

👥 Mentoring junior researchers and managing scientific progress

Qualifications

✅ Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Plant Science, Biotechnology, or related field

✅ Strong lab experience in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, and/or plant transformation

✅ Familiarity with bioinformatics tools

✅ Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary research projects

✅ Experience in foodtech/biotech industry – an advantage

✅ Experience mentoring or managing teams – an advantage

✅ Project management skills – an advantage
