RIS System Specialist

Our medical information systems unit seeks a professional RIS (Radiology Information System) Specialist.

The position entails responsibility for maintenance, support, daily operations, and leading system optimization processes, while working closely with clinical teams, technicians, radiologists, and software vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support for RIS systems (e.g., eRAD, Algotech)

• Troubleshoot issues, investigate problems, and deliver professional solutions to users

• Work with DICOM protocol, including managing communication processes between PACS and RIS systems

• Train new users and implement new system processes

• Collaborate with software vendors and internal IT teams

• Improve and optimize system workflows according to clinical needs

• Document processes, write procedures, and generate reports

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RIS system support experience – mandatory

• Practical familiarity with standard RIS systems (eRAD, Algotech, etc.) – mandatory

• Working knowledge and experience with DICOM protocol – mandatory

• Strong technological orientation and fast learning ability

• Independent work capability, excellent service orientation, and interpersonal skills

Advantage:

• Previous experience working in a medical/hospital environment

• Familiarity with PACS systems
