Software Engineer III, Cloud Networking, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, Go.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Software-Defined Networking, User Space Networking, Low Latency Networking and System Design.

Responsibilities

• Impact Google Cloud's ability to deliver advanced networking features to its enterprise customers.
• Implement infrastructure changes, major refactoring and scale improvements from scoping the requirements with various Networking teams, through high level design, detailed implementation, and managing the rollout with all its risks.
