The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help us expand and harden the core of Axiom’s platform. You’ll work at the intersection of identity, security, and cloud infrastructure—shipping features that directly impact how Security, IAM, and Platform teams control access at scale.

This is a hybrid role based in Tel Aviv, where you’ll collaborate closely with product, security, and design to take features from whiteboard to production—quickly and cleanly.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and optimize backend services that are performant, secure, and resilient
• Own end-to-end delivery of features—from design to deploy to monitor
• Architect microservices and event-driven workflows in Go and AWS
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and design to turn ideas into working software
• Improve scalability, reliability, and developer experience across the stack
• Mentor engineers and help shape engineering culture through code reviews and architectural discussions

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in cloud-native environments
• Expertise in backend systems, distributed architecture, and microservices
• Hands-on experience with Go, or strong experience in a similar language, with interest in picking up Go fast
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS (Lambda, SQS, IAM), and CI/CD automation
• Solid understanding of security principles and how to build resilient systems
• High ownership mindset, bias for action, and ability to work independently on complex problems
• People who are driven to grow—both personally and professionally—and are committed to becoming the best version of themselves

Bonus Points For

• Experience in access control, IAM, or security-first products
• Background working with Graph databases or policy engines
• Building infrastructure at a fast-growing startup
• Open-source contributions or technical writing
