Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material and Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team. The Material Manager will be responsible for ensuring materials and components are available to meet production schedules, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating between procurement, production, project managers, engineering, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and R&D projects
• Plan and manage material requirements to ensure on-time availability of components for production
• Monitor and update MRP in the ERP system (Priority), including work orders and inventory status
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to follow up on material availability and resolve shortages
• Communicate with the relevant stake-holders and manufacturing to align material and production planning with project timelines
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors in the field of electronics manufacturing (e.g., SMT/PCBA) to ensure production schedules and quality requirements are met
• Track and analyze KPIs such as delivery performance, material availability, and inventory turnover
• Identify and implement improvements in planning processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience (3+ years) in material planning, production planning, or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience working with ERP systems – Priority is an advantage
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew (written and verbal)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
• Knowledge of electronic components or electro-mechanical assemblies – an advantage
