Job Description

Job Summary:

TJL Pharmaceutical is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician with a strong background in industrial systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment used in the pharmaceutical manufacturing process, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Purpose & Scope Of The Role

The Electrical Technician plays a key role in supporting production operations by performing electrical maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting in an industrial environment. This position ensures all systems run efficiently and safely to meet production targets.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance on electrical circuits, motors, panels, and control systems.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime.
• Support automated equipment and PLC systems through troubleshooting and minor programming adjustments.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety codes and electrical standards.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and electrical systems.
• Calibrate sensors, timers, and other control equipment used in the production line.
• Provide technical support during emergencies and resolve breakdowns promptly.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve system reliability.
  
  

Job Requirements

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in an industrial setting
  
  

Skills

• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics
• Familiarity with safety standards and preventive maintenance
• Basic knowledge of PLCs and automated control systems
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
