Check Point Software Technologies is looking for a Linux System Administrator to manage, maintain, and improve our growing IT infrastructure. You will be a part of the IT Infrastructure team responsible for the design, maintenance, and operation of a complex IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Kubernetes (K8S) environments (Linux and Windows based).
• Ensure security and compliance across Kubernetes workloads
• Optimize performance and resource utilization of Kubernetes nodes and pods.
• Manage Linux-based infrastructure supporting Kubernetes, including networking, storage, and OS-level tuning.
• Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
• Perform regular system patching and upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production K8s environments (using Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools).
• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for operational transparency and efficiency.
• Planning and implementation of global corporate IT projects.
• Supporting 24x7 business-critical systems.
• Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate and optimize infrastructure components.
  
  

• 3-5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator in global companies.
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8S) environments, preferably orchestrated by Rancher.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Linux/Windows server administration.
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python) and familiarity with automation principles (experience with Ansible is an advantage).
• Strong problem-solving skills: troubleshooting, problem analysis, and resolution determination.
• Good background in IT security and network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization technologies, including storage and network configurations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, highly responsible.
• Able to lead long-term projects and keep KPIs.
• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude.
