Robotics Product Manager

Swarmer is a Vendor-Agnostic Autonomy for Coordinated Robots. We develop AI-managed collaborative autonomy to make teams of connected drones and autonomous systems smart, efficient, and self-improving over time.

Currently, we are looking for a Robotics Product Manager.

📌 ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Robotics Product Manager, you will lead the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions, including autonomy algorithms, computer vision models, and collaborative swarm behaviors. You will work at the intersection of innovation and real-world application, ensuring Swarmer's AI technologies are reliable, scalable, and battlefield-ready.

📌 WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Strategic Planning: Define the vision and roadmap for Swarmer’s AI products, including collaborative autonomy, mission prioritization, and computer vision modules.
• Technology Development: Oversee the development of AI models for autonomy pipeline and decentralized swarm architecture.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with AI researchers, engineers, and hardware teams to develop integrated solutions.
• Data Strategy: Manage data pipelines for AI model training, incorporating feedback from field operations and combat pilots.
• User-Centric Focus: Translate complex AI functionalities into user-friendly features for operational teams.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs to evaluate AI performance, such as mission success rates, error rates in target identification, and latency in decision-making.
• Ethics and Explainability: Ensure AI systems are transparent, auditable, and aligned with ethical guidelines.

📌 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in AI product management, with a focus on computer vision, robotics, or autonomy systems. Experience in defense-related AI is a strong advantage.
• Technical Background: Proficient in AI/ML concepts, computer vision technologies, and autonomy systems. Understanding of frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead AI projects across diverse teams, balancing innovation with practicality.
• Analytical Mindset: Skilled in analyzing data, measuring AI effectiveness, and driving continuous improvements.
• Communication: Ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
