Job Summary
Responsibilities include cross operations functions – MES & Production floor, Warehouses, Inventory management, Deliver & Trade Compliance, HTC’s planning SME, and Ops IT projects management.
Duties & Responsibilities
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Planning
- As the Ops planning SME, Ensure best practice working methodologies are implemented and followed by all planners in all platforms
- Lead & support the SC SAP processes and activities held by the planning team
- Direct and guides planners to maximize their personal talents and to develop new skills, by creating training plans / platforms.
- Internal Manufacturing and MES management
- Production floor plan resources based on long-term forecasts: quarterly and annually
- Work with supply chain teams on weekly production plans
- MES design & development of new processes and tools
- Manage the Process Engineering SME
- Manage the Ops focal point for IT&IS projects
- Ops Logistics & Deliver
- Manage the warehouses budgets and oversee the activities and service performances.
- Manage the Deliver and Trade compliance activities for HTC Ops
- Work on processes optimization & improvements
- Inventory Management
- Manage and control the inventory levels vs the business targets
- Manage the quarterly SLOB & Scrap assessment vs the business targets
- General
- Communicates business related issues and opportunities to next management level
- Follows all Company guidelines related to Environment, Health & Safety practices
- Ensures that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Environment, Health, & Safety practices and ensures that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
- Ensures personal and Company compliance with Company policies and applicable laws
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
Education/Training: 1st degree in Logistics-related field, such as Industrial Engineering or Economics
Experience: at least 5 years of experience in SC or planning management position.
Experience for Senior: at least 7 years of experience in SC or planning management position.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES And AFFILIATIONS
- Required Knowledge
- Good knowledge of English: speaking, reading, and writing
- Familiarity with ERP systems. SAP-an advantage
- Good financial knowledge – P&L & Cash Flow
- Required Skills or Abilities
- Big picture orientation with attention to detail
- Good sense of urgency
- A communicative person with excellent human relations skills
- Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Certifications or Licenses
