Software Engineering Team Lead

A global Cybersecurity startup company that has developed an AI and Data Analysis-based solution for prevention, detection, and response to phishing threats and attacks. The platform automatically identifies and removes threats within seconds, serving organizations of various sizes.

The company is headquartered in Ramat Gan, conveniently located near a train station, and operates in a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week. They have 150 employees worldwide, including around 60 in Israel.

Responsibilities-

• Lead a team of high-caliber software engineers to achieve business goals in high-paced, Agile methodology while maintaining highest quality.
• Hands-on design, implement and optimize highly scalable and maintainable user-facing systems, and APIs.
• Hire, mentor and inspire a team to adopt engineering excellence
• Become a subject matter expert on architecture, performance, and optimization
• Plan and execute quarterly and sprint plans, communicate effectively risks and mitigations.

Requirements-

• BSc or BA in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 7 years of backend development - must
• 3 years of technical leadership experience, people management - must
• 2 years’ experience in Python
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Cloud, Django Framework development.
• Experience in leading projects and planning work in Agile and dynamic manner.
• Experience in Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Linux, AWS – an advantage
