Resource Development Manager – North America

Location: Kibbutz Hannaton (Hybrid, minimum 3x/week in-office)

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-Time (80%)

The Hannaton Educational Center is a dynamic and growing nonprofit in Israel’s Galilee, dedicated to leadership development, pluralism, and social activism. As our organization grows, we are seeking a Resource Development Manager – North America to strengthen our philanthropic partnerships and fundraising efforts.

This role will focus on managing and expanding Hannaton’s donor base in North America, working closely with our CEO and an Israel-based counterpart who leads local fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and manage relationships with donors, foundations, and philanthropic organizations across North America
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants, major gifts, and institutional partnerships
• Develop compelling grant proposals, donor reports, and fundraising materials in native-level English
• Oversee donor stewardship and engagement, including personalized communication and newsletters
• Maintain and improve resource development systems, including donor databases and reporting structures

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fundraising within the nonprofit sector
• Deep understanding of the North American culture and philanthropic landscape
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong Hebrew proficiency is an advantage
• Strong strategic thinking, relationship-building, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an Israel-based team
• Proficiency in digital tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, and Monday.com
