Front End Team Lead

A breakthrough Cybersecurity Startup, specializing in micro-segmentation, is developing a solution to one of the most complex challenges in cyber defense — preventing attackers from moving laterally within organizational networks.

Since its founding, the company has raised $45 million from top-tier investors. It employs 100 people, most of whom are based in Israel and form the R&D center.

The office is located in Tel Aviv, near a train station, and the company offers a hybrid work model.

Over the past year, the company has increased its sales fivefold and expects significant growth in the near future.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the front-end infrastructure team, including 50% hands-on development, while mentoring team members and driving their professional growth.
• Define the team's roadmap and technical vision in alignment with business objectives.
• Recruit and onboard new team members to build a strong and scalable team.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement and maintain front-end architecture and best practices to ensure high-quality, scalable code.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure performance, quality, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Stay current with front-end trends and share knowledge across the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues raised by users or stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience managing and leading technical teams
• 4 years of experience as a Front-end developer or full-stack engineer.
• Hands-on experience in the following technology stack: Vue / React, Node.js, TypeScript.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
