Experienced Wire Harness Engineer

The HW System Architecture Team is a small team, whose goal is to support the development of next-generation systems for Mobileye’s self-driving car and advanced driver-assistance systems. We apply multiple disciplines to develop these solutions that serve our customers and Mobileye’s R&D

What will your job look like?

• Wire Harness Engineer you will participate in the definition and implementation of Mobileye autonomous vehicle platform.
• Design/Distribute of Hi-speed cables.
• Design/Definitions of lab, farm and vehicle harnesses.
• Ensure that the vehicle wire harnesses are connecting all the devices in a reliable and producible manner, in consideration of manufacturability and serviceability.
• Design/Optimization of power distribution.
• Creation/Maintenance of harness documentation.
• Interface with suppliers and act as a technical point of contact.
• Work with engineering to develop assembly and install instructions.
• Ensure BOM accuracy, release drawings for manufacturing.
• You will be as part of System Architecture team and should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity.
  
  

• B.S. in Electrical or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in the field of harness design.
• EMC knowledge.
• Proven knowledge, and expertise in electrical wiring system.
• SolidWorks electrical harness design skills or OrCAD – an advantage.
• Familiarity with Automotive wiring harness specifications – an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ensuring completion to meet deadlines in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills both in Hebrew and English.
